Eligibility: The contest is open to all individuals who are legal residents of  Ontario where and are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Owners and employees of retail stores in Hillcrest Village BIA and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

 

Entry: To enter the contest, visit one of the participating retail stores during the contest period of May 1st to May 31st, 2024. Limit one entry per person per store per day. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

 

Prize: The prize(s) for the contest will vary and will be determined by each participating store in Hillcrest Village BIA. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items. 

 

Winner Selection: Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries received during the contest period. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

 

Notification: Winners will be notified by email and/or phone. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 7 days of the initial notification, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected.

 

Publicity: By accepting the prize, winners consent to the use of their name, likeness, photo, video and entry for promotional purposes without further compensation.

 

General Conditions: The contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the contest organizers, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the contest.

 

Release: By participating in the contest, entrants release the Hillcrest Village BIA, participating retail stores, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any claims, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in the contest or acceptance, possession, or use of any prize.

 

Disputes: Any disputes arising under or related to the contest shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the participating retail stores are located, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding relating to the contest shall be brought exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.

 

Sponsor: The contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook.

 

By participating in the contest, entrants agree to abide by these official rules and the decisions of the contest organizers, which are final and binding in all respects.
